With a distinct Catalan-Mediterranean tradition, his cuisine embraces the incredible quality and variety of our country’s "market" and the diversity of different cultures that enriches it.
His work philosophy
Knowing that the impact of gastronomy in La Florida is very important he wants to achieve it thanks to high quality products and the detail when presenting them. Further he believe the teamwork essential to provide good service to customers.
The origin of his vocation
The kitchen was always very present in his childhood thanks to his family. His two grandmothers, with their stews, were essential pillars in their culinary roots.
He began his first jobs working in industrial catering, restaurants and hotel chains such as Hesperia, Vincci Hotels and the Palace hotel in Barcelona.
Sous chef at the tender age of 23 in a 4-star hotel, he continued his career as sous chef at the new 5-star Skipper Barcelona hotel and three years later as Executive Chef at the ME by Meliá hotel.
After five years he became co-owner of the Con Gracia gastronomic restaurant in Barcelona.
What does he hope to achieve at La Florida?
He hopes to turn it into a leading gastronomic hotspot in Barcelona, with a quality and variety of cuisine that invites diners to come and enjoy an emblematic hotel in "the best city in the world". His city.
